If you're not willing to take action and take to the streets to support single payer NOW then when?

John Mackey, CEO of Whole Foods Market, announced in a Wall Street Journal op-ed piece that he will use his profits from Whole Foods to campaign against a Single Payer Solution to America's/Oregon's moral and economic health care crisis. Don't give John Mackey your money to work against Single Payer.

Don't Support Businesses And Politicians That Don't Support A Single Payer Solution For America And Oregon

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi has promised that she will allow a Single Payer bill to be debated and voted upon by the full house of representatives in September or October. Our congressional delegation needs to hear your voice and see your anger at the despised, failed, for-profit, private health insurance industry that is trying desperately to hijack the health care reform debate in our country. That have already succeeded in our state legislature.

The following groups support a Single Payer Solution to America's/Oregon's moral and economic health care crisis.

These groups and others are discussing a Stand Up For Single Payer Sick Out Day in late September or Early October. The general idea would be for every member of the above organizations and every Oregonian that supports single payer to take an hour or two of "sick time" to demonstrate in front of the offices of their member of congress.
